How our transfer units work
The strings of the transfer unit are located just below the transport surface of the roller conveyor. When the product is being positioned above the strings from the transfer unit, the strings will come up to transport the product to the other conveyor. The product takes a turn to the roller conveyor which is perpendicular or parallel to it. Depending on the direction, the product can change in orientation.
The strings will only come up when the product has the right parameters, thanks to our intelligent software which is linked to the transfer unit. An average transfer unit has a capacity of 1.200 product per hour, depending on the measurements and conveyor speed.
Use of our transfer units
The transfer unit is often used toe sort products like packages, boxes and crates. Important is that the product has a flat bottom.

A transfer unit has the following benefits:

- Easy to integrate thanks to the modular build of the transfer unit;
- Packages are always transported in a stable way due to optimal use of cassettes;
- Low maintenance.
