How our shuttle roller conveyors work
The shuttle roller conveyos drives fully automatically on a track. A major advantage of this compared to a static roller conveyor is that a large part of the production space remains available. As a result, all places in the building remain accessible for employees, cleaning services and service technicians, even during production. When the shuttle roller conveyor has arrived at its destination, the pallets are unrolled from the carriage and then continue in the production process. Luxury Shuttle roller conveyors are equipped with a safety scanner and can be the perfect link between two buildings.
Use of our shuttle roller conveyors
Shuttle roller conveyors are often used when pallets with different products have to travel a relatively long distance. ARCO shuttle roller conveyors are suitable for different types of pallets, including Euro pallets, Block pallets and Düsseldorf pallets; A shuttle roller conveyor is often used instead of a roller conveyor or chain conveyor for these longer distances. The disadvantage of this is that there is no continuous passage, but that the shuttle roller conveyor keeps going up and down. An advantage is that pallets with products are not buffered, but can continue directly in the production process.
