Here is how it works. An open carton is scanned and matched to the order file. Variable data is generated, then the unit prints the packing slip or invoice, folds it, and places it inside the carton or tote just before closing. A barcode or camera check confirms the insert, and any mismatch is routed to a rework lane. Every step is logged in real time.

How Document printing, folding & insertion work in practice
