Put-to-wall

Put-to-Wall is a light-directed sorting method that distributes large item flows across orders or stores. It is ideal for push operations from receiving or bulk storage, and for consolidating batch-picked e-commerce orders. The result is structured sorting that keeps operators focused and product streams under control.

Each order or customer gets a dedicated wall slot. The operator scans an item, the system lights the correct locations and shows the quantity to place. After confirmation on the illuminated button, the transaction is written to the WMS or WCS in real time. Stock, order status and exceptions stay visible, so supervisors can intervene quickly and slotting remains accurate.

Put-to-Wall raises throughput and reduces handling steps. Walking is limited, errors drop and the learning curve is short. The modules are space-efficient and scale easily as volumes grow.
